Central locking problem

I have a mongoose alarm in the aw11. My problem is the alarm arms and disarms properly but the doors do not unlock.

The car locks when the alarm is armed but does not unlock the doors when I disarm the alarm.

The interior driver's side door switch to unlock all doors does not work either. I can unlock the doors using the key.

Not knowing much about stuff like this, is it something obvious that had gone wrong? Happens on both remotes that I have.

First thing I would do is check for a fault on the drivers door control. Since thats not working, it will probably be required by the alarm to work the doors.

So pull it out and check nothings loose or burnt

do your window controls play up intermittently? sounds like a break in the wiring for the door controls from the door having been opened/closed thousands of times. common on SW20's (may be common on aw11's as well?)

your door lock motors are shot, or the wiring from your alarm to the motor control box/motor itself has broken.

If your confident enough, pull the door panel off, and see if any wires are unplugged. The motors generally have connector plugs about 6inches from the units themselves.
