Helmet Regulations

Postby Blkwinter » Thu Feb 19, 2009 1:21 pm

Hi guys and girls

Did a quick search but didn't help. Just buying a few things to get into a bit of motor sport like track days/drag days and looking at helmets. What are the requirements for a helmet to cover most types of car motor sport? Like what stickers/safety information must I make sure it has before I buy one. I also take it motorcross helmets are the same?

Did you even look at the pdf Andrew posted in the first link??

Oh look, there's a section headed up Safety Critical Items.....of which the first words after it are Competitors’ Apparel, and well, what do you know...right after that are the requirements for Protective Helmets which strx7 has kindly provided you with anyway.
