.... at a guess i would assume that their going to use it for both manufatures, seeing as toyota owns subaru. D4 engine = going to be a complete f*ck up. so many issues with D4 as it is.

Yeah, they do look quite similar.
Apart from the front bumper that is. And the grille, and the bonnet, and the headlights, and the front guards. Oh, and the doors, and the rear arches and the roof line.
Otherwise very similar!
