haha yes i do ive owned one. withn the right muffler they arent too loud. and they are a nice performing motor, by understated i meant something without the wanky rotor pulse.

When in doubt, down and out.

Vehicles like that deserve a well built free revving n/a engine with loads of cam overlap (so they have a hearty idle) and lots of intake noise, so its either quad throttle bodies or twin carbs on the intake menu and some hearty extractors on the exhaust menu.

anything along the lines of 18RG, 3SGE, 2TG, 2ZZGE or possibly a 4age. Am I the only one who thinks putting a 4AGE into something has lost its novelty factor? Like find a car that has never had a 4AGE in it...... you name it, its been done.

Ken
I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

Nope, as soon as I hear AE86/5 etc, my eyes just kinda glaze over in much the same fashion as when the wife's talking about shoes
