I am currently watching the horror unfold which appears to be the demolishion of our much loved venue of Toyspeed meets for the last few years :(

Best make up our mind about the new venue, as we're going to need one tomorrow night.

Well given that weather wise tomorrow is meant to be sweet we should probably have the meet at Supercheap's carpark, at least we have somewhere to go and try and nail down a new regular and possibly a back up plan for if it turns to custard?

Yea supercheap tomorrow night so we can decide on a new meeting place, would probably recommend having some gas in your cars everybody as it may involve driving round checking places out

Have been for a drive tonight and have foud that they have now opened the 2 top stories of the new plaza carpark

Went for a drive up there and I think that it would be an ideal place to meet tomorrow night :D

Fairly decent view from the top!

Crap. I sortof intended on just throwing Supercheap out to everyone who are associated as a last minute emergency rescue plan. Theory being that if everyone hear something consistant they know they can count on showing up there tonight and THEN when can discuss future meets so we don't have people driving around going "Plaza? Or Supercheap? or ...." given everyone show up at different times.

Guess it looks like L2 Plaza carpark it is, I've told people who come who don't really read these forums (ie GTR and Starion guys) that we're meeting at Supercheap but will try and set that right and hopefully it all works out.

Sorry didnt intend it as "we are going here"

Was just an idea before they go putting barriers up etc, which looks like it may happen fairly shortly

Yeah that was another reason I didn't mention the Plaza as if in the first 5/10 minutes of the meet (completely conceiveable) we get asked to leave it will create problems.

We'll just see how it goes though, I'm sure it will work out. Everyone knows we'll end up at hell sooner or later - and we all have phones haha.

Looks like the Plaza will be a goer for the time being, ground floor. The security folks didn't seem worried.

Andrew - looking at how its coming along I would imagine I might be able to start taking pics of real destruction very soon.

Has anyone considered contacting plaza management and explaining how for the better part of (4?) years toyspeed has used ashely street and if now, they would mind ever so muchly (officially) supporting us in using the new parking building? Of course we could have no stupid behaviour (180sx "drifting" almost into a pole comes to mind)

As requested by Distrb - graphic pic of destruction:

Shame I don't have anything better than a cellphone camera, the whole upper level flexes when the digger has a decent go at it. Its quite dramatic, especially when there are vehicles on top wobbling around hahaha
