Assuming the run ended at 7400 then the red 27(?)psi boost spike occured at 2800rpm, peak power is at 6600rpm and peak torque somewhere between 3500-4200rpm. All those figures seem to make sense to me.

Very impressive!!!

So i go back to my original statement.

if you are at 2800rpm at 100kph, the dyno sheet finishes at 5320rpm, you make peak torque between 2500 and 3000rpm and peak hp at 4760rpm

unless you've got VVTi and some VERY interesting cams I cant see that being possible

Those numbers make sense but they aren't what he's telling us

I will have to go back to torque to get it in rpms but as you can see on the dyno sheet in red i get full boost around 73kms thats about 1800rpm, on the runs he had done he as not hit the rev limiter so shutting off befor 7000rpms

I'm very interested as it would appear that your set up would make a interesting super saloon engine package.

I'm assuming its not a VVTi engine?

VVTi on top of that package would give an VERY interesting torque curve.

I have a blue printed & Balance 2JZ bottom end which i will be putting a worked VVTi JZGE head on at some stage in the future (may take a couple of years)

What displacement is this engine? I really can't see a 3litre doing the things you are saying.

Haha I have seen what a 50-75hp shot does to a 3litre engine running a 1000hp turbo on it before 8O

This is a dyno plot of an RB30DET with a slightly larger turbo than yours run without NOS, then the start of one where a similar shot to what you have is squirted into it where it prompted busted into wheelspin lol
Image

Boost curve with NOS looks much like yours, if you have managed to do that without NOS then omfg.

With this new head i have now my boost just so quick, but even with my old set up i still had fast spooll up, that dyno sheet you have there do you know it thats race gas, that the sort of power if not more i am looking for, for next season.

Yeah that one is a with race gas more to illustrate the NOS difference, but it has a pretty safe pump gas tune:

With race gas and 30psi the dyno never held the power properly, it seems anything over 900hp @ wheels it seems it would start letting go :(

PPG gearset in an R34 GTR gearbox, AWD - yeah definitely pump gas... the full power race tune was much more impressive, was over 700kw @ wheels on 30psi before traction issues on the dyno started kicking in. Car ran once with the H-pattern box on NZ soil without nitrous, did a 9.7 tapping the revlimiter in each gear and then blew the PPG gearbox - never to run again on our soil :(

Full weight street legal R34 GTR!
