i think fivebobs right about mclaren and hamilton, think back to melbourne where under the safety car hamilton was saying he couldnt keep the tyres warm.
$5 says new aero package is no 1 priority for them!
that and nerf bars for kovilinen!!

if it wasnt for that crazy penalty from melbourne vettel would have been number one danger man i reckon

Another Intresting race

Brawn is going really well, as are the rest of the teams with the good defuser desgins

Will be intresting to see what happens now at the FIA court of appeal

Stoked to see Williams and Toyota up at the front for once

The mix up that has happend this season is the best thing to ever happen to the sport

Don't forget with KERS the teams have had to shift as much weight as they can to the front of the car to try and keep them balanced. Hamilton's driving style is to throw the car into the corner and flick it out. Looking at Malaysian GP footage, esp the practices (thanks Sky) it was obvious the McLaren is lacking front end grip for him. McLaren might have been tight in the ballast dept.

I thought it was just a media beat up to take heat off McLaren talking about MS being responsible for Kimi's wet tyre mistake till I read this part of a MS interview pre Melbourne

"What advice do you give to the (Ferrari)Formula One drivers during the race?

MS: No, you see, that’s what I meant when I said before, I’m not getting into the details because I’m not there all the time. If I would be there all the time, probably I would do so but I was never interested to speak to too many people while I’m sitting in the car, so I guess [laughter], the current drivers are not really too interested in it either. They have their direct engineer, that’s the only person that would talk to them and very often, yes, I do talk to this engineer, that we stay together, especially changeable weather conditions. I remember in Monza, it was a little bit difficult and chaotic race, and the engineers come to me and say, what do you think, what are we going to do? Gooooo Vettel! Im loving the unpredictability of this season, fantastic stuff! Red Bulls seem to have real pace, being quick in Q2 also which is run on fumes. So, who needs a fancy pants rear diffuser? Not Red Bull it seems.

I think Alonso is running light, but its great to see him back up at the pointy end!

Piquet doesn't have the new diffuser but does have a famous Dad.

Wonder if Renault are using the diffuser that got knocked back in January as is or if they had to modify it. It has given Alonso a bit more speed.

The weights from qualifying make for interesting reading. I knew Alonso was light, but I didn't think the Red Bulls would be as light as they were. But to me the most interesting weights are Raikkonen and Hamilton.

I'm just praying for my man Raikkonen cant some points on the board while Ferrari get there act together.It will be interesting to see how long it takes these top teams to get a new and legal diffuser packages that Brawn Toyota RBR have on there cars to even the competition out a little.

I'm not surprised about Vettel's performance at all he's just carrying on his form from last year but it does seem that those Renault enines have a little more go than last year and also so Adrian Newey has designed them a good car aswell.

i was gutted when i saw start under safety car, but turned out to be a very entertaining race!
also good result for buemi!
and a bit of a what if for trulli i think. pretty sure he would have had some points

bad luck for sutil.... and as commentator said about lap 2.. congratulations kovalinen for completing your first race lap of 2009

ferrari must just about be in a full panic! worst start to season since 1981!
