As far as I am aware as long as you don't change the seat mounting points ie: the holes that the factory seat bolts to and the belt stalks aren't attached to the seat you don't need a cert.

I have racetech seats using modified factory seat rails that bolt to original holes with the factory belt stalks on the tunnel and have never had a problem at WOF time

been told as soon as the seat rail is one piece not modify seat rail would be fine,but who know who is right?in nz everyone tell different story since seen no one know who is right?police still can give you a fine if they "think" it's not right.

As my suggestion in case anything happen,better get LVV and make sure everything is alright.I have recaro on my car and it been cert as well. :wink:
