4AGE component ID

Hi can anyone tell me what this part is,and what it does ?, its attached to the igniter bracket toyota part # is 28515-16010

No,

but the igniter you have in the picture needs the case or bracket of it to be earthed,
as it's part of the circuit so if's it's swingine on the wiring and not mounted,
that causes loss of spark.

okay
im actually trying to diagnose a car in Perth WA that's got no spark !, i was thinking its the igniter anyway, just checking that the other bit wasn't part of the ignition system
