What are you worried about?
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Good price, I sold my old one of almost identical spec minus the LSD for quite a bit more than that.

Although is it reg'd?

EDIT: plus that one is probably an AE85...but who cares.

judging by carjam saying it is still 1500cc I would guess it is not cert'd

9500 seems like a fair enough price. probably get it for less if he is really needing cash.

will need a cert for sure by the letter of the law but its all about who you know eh.

its defintely an 85 by the way, false advertising really.

either way would need a cert for gze

Asking the owner if it's certed.

Still worth all of that money, very good car and by the looks it will either have a cert or won't have too much trouble getting one.

My assumption would be that it has a cert since it has the terratrip etc for rally events and the rego is live, you would hope that a good scruiteneeer / wof guy / officer would pick up if it wasn't certed (although you cant see the plate in the engine bay, but it could be located on any structural point of the car).

Buy it :P .

It's a race car, that's why it's cheap.

Were you intending to buy a caged car?

doesn't mention homologation or any other legalities... important stuff.

edit: I can see the homologation sticker in the photo... probably ok.

Not the scruitineer's job to see if it has a cert on not, so dont bet on that.
