ae101 clutch

Postby method » Mon May 04, 2009 12:05 am

Im getting a new clutch and i have a ae101 flywheel and w55 box.

Are the ae101 flywheels 212mm diameter?

AFIK i need to use a 4AGZE clutch of some sort. Not sure if it is a recessed one or not, are the ae101 flywheels recessed? Reason for this is the clutch needs to fit onto the w55 spline.

Cany anyone enlighten me?

Thanks.

all 4agze clutchs are recessed. its quite easy to tell them apart when you see them
4agze ae101 is 224 and N/A 212 iirc.
4AGZE flywheels are also pretty damn heavy!

theres a 4agze one. note the raised lugs

and heres the two 20v ones, flat

Ahh cheers for that.

My car has the ae101 4age flywheel (NA) but i need a clutch that is not recessed but has the same spline count as the GZE clutch.

i dont think theres a stock toyota plate that will do that, but any clutch place worth their name will be able to make one for you easy enough.
ask around who is good in auckland.
