The head will bolt up to the block, but I think you may need to use a GenIII/Gen IV head gasket.

That said however, nothing else will bolt up, i.e. you need GenIII/IV intake and exhaust manifolds. It is not easy to run a distributor without a lot machining on the head, so you will also need to run an aftermarket ECU, add a crankshaft position sensor and run coil on plug ignition, or possibly wasted spark with twin coils.

youd be better off adapting the gen4 engine in and toughening up the block internmals- those are some meaty bores :)

Otherwise listen to 5bob

its currently got eagle rods,je pistons,os valves, hks vavle springs,272 cams, cam gears etc,but i keen going thru cometic head gaskets

i need to change the head gasket once again so im thinking about changing the head to a gen4 with the gen4 intake manifold if its a fairly easy change

Sounds like you need to work out why you are eating headgaskets

Are they copper gaskets?

I'd recommend using a stock Gen III gasket, they are better than most of the aftermarket gaskets available.
