I can reccomend this one if you are interested. Interior needs a little tidy but the outside is great and its mechanicially sound.

Did you ever drive or go in Edhouse's old mans GTO? They actually go quite well and considering how much of a whale they are, quite nimble on their feet. Back when they first came out they were the R32 GTR's only competition in Japan.

Sure have, I drove it through town before I was old enough to have a license to drive I think
I remember having a chat with him about it and remembering from about 12 years ago how I though it went well to which he replied that it was only because we were driving around in N/A POS back then

i remember seeing a stock vs stock gtr vs gto. it was pretty close, think the gto won in a drag race.

these 3L twin turbo cars are no slouches. looking for bucket loads of torque, theyre the way to go. only downside is the weight of the cars which i suppose takes away some of the sportiness

I have a vague recollection of a horrendously modified one that used to drag race, and did a couple of open days too. MAGNIT or something as a personalised plate. Older dude driving it. Looked willing to do wheelstands off the line, as he used to launch it like seven flavours of bastard.

It was impressive.

However, I'd not own either the GTO or Z just because of the sheer level of doodads in them, combined with how old those doodads are now. I figure the odds of there being an expensive repair lurking are pretty grim.

Took a couple of GTO's for test drives, still undecided on them. Have never been in a Z. I don't like the look of them at all though.

The GTO's went very well. I would not want to launch one, but once they were off the mark, they were bloody quick.

They have TD04s on them from factory, but small wheeled 9B's. I'll be using two RVR TD04HL 15G's on mine.

So, counting for inflation, that's like 8,000hp in today's terms.
