forums, if only they weren't full of crap statements and large signatures.
yes, it's under rebuild- again. 80,000km ago was the initial rebuild, required after the ringland incident, was running 23 psi mind you. This time around the motor is out for a trans change as after 200,000km, big boost and towing a heavy trailer the slush box is getting , well slushierer. And the head suddenly got the rattles, so it's all getting a swish up.
Its been running std boost for the last 80,000 as i was intending on fitting a frontmount, which is more likely to actually happen this time around, and some exhaust gas monitoring bizzo before cranking it back up to big fun boost.
It's a 97 st215w with the oil filter hanging low on the front, so I'm arseuming it's a III
and as i/c's are supurb at absorbing stuff like water splashed from puddles etc and i haven't forded any rivers since i drove a skyline, I'm pretty certain it wasn't hyrdo'd.
I'm a fan of smaller problems rather than stronger solutions.
