fixed back seats question

whats the law regarding back seats if i installed 2 fixed back seats in my ae92 gtz trueno do i have to remove my back seats or can i leave them they wont be operational bacause you wont be able to get into the back im going to get a half cage at some stage so they will have to go in i just want to get my bucket seats in

Legally you would need to register and cert your car as a two seater and remove the rear seats and belts.

Load of crap.

What you need to do is:
Remove seats and seat belts.
Go for WOF when time comes.


Don't fill in the seat belt threads.
Don't need the cert.

There is no such thing as 2 seater registration.

If WOF guy is an idiot tell him to ring LTSA (or take your business somewhere else).

bacause i dont want a hole ther i could make a new pannel up that id have to then remove again and redo when the cage goes in

i was going to do it i have a pretty good wood work setup at work that i can use but have little experiance in wood working so some help would be good

scott scored some free sheetmetal (galv like they use in ducting) decided not to use checker plate after finding out its $14 for a peice 300mmx300mm of 3mm thick 8O
