The real question is, are Toyspeeders as superstitious as other New Zealanders....

To tell the truth, I cant be naffed wandering around the supermarket looking for the GE Free food. I just want to buy my groceries and get out. Fast.

I like food thats natural, like, stuff thats been grown on a tree and hasnt been touched by sprays or chemicals, but its amazing aye, like do u guys know what a banana looks like that hasnt been touched by sprays etc? Theyre like half the size, teeny, and reeeal sweet
Kind of scary but me, meh, i just cant be BOTHERED half the time.

IMO, I dont think its neccesarily bad, but it *could* be used in ways that could be well.. bad. As long as there is control of it, I don't see the problem..
Dugtrio used Earthquake. It's super effective.

Well it seems the only people protesting against it are feminists, bushwackers and in general people who don't understand it, but people will always protest about things they don't understand.

im not against it, hey it may even help stop the mighty banana from extinction, in case anyone doesnt know what im talking about, apparently the banana trees all have the same DNA and there is some natural desiese wiping them out, if they dont help the banana with some GE then its bye bye to the humble banana split etc....

OK, let me put this in perspective for you.

The human race is dependent on three crops for its existence. Rice, wheat, and corn. If something happened to them, the human race would die out. End of story.

If we can create alternate crops to sustain the human race, the chance for destruction is much less.

Genetic engineering, like any other tool, is neither good nor evil in itself. I think it could be used to do vast good, like destroying illnesses, improving our natural resistances, increasing the nutritional value and size of various types of food, etc.

If someone from the other side could please explain just WHY we should "keep it in the lab," I'd like to hear it....I'm very curious as to what your reasoning is.

i dont think it really matters about how many diesieses we find a cure for, as Arnie said in the terminator: Its our nature to destroy ourselves

How is a cure for cancer gonna stop the world dying when we have trigger happy american presidents not to metion what would happen if countries like korea etc get hold of full nuclear programs!!
