Actually forget those numbers, I just found my GTT auto ECU here at work its numbers are 89661-21330 denso number 175300-0801

In this case, and most others, there is a difference in the fault codes that the ECU will generate, and potentially go into limp mode because of. Also most Auto ECUs are tuned for different torque curves.
fivebob wrote:Hmm, this is rather strange. My manual ECU is Denso# 175300 791 the number on the circuit board is 175231 1160.
I haven't found the Auto ECU yet to compare it with, but I'm wondering if your ECU is for a 3S-GTE, or some other motor

31 pins on ecu A.
frost wrote:oh is there more to the alloy sump then just two holes feeding the oil filter? i'll have to investigate later.
the oil pickup is top center of picture.
the oil filter feed and return is side by side at corner of block.
i was thinking of just looping the two holes that feed the filter and run remote filter off the side of engine like gen2 style.
