im 100% sure the 2jz water pump pulley is diff and the rest are the same? or do i have that the other way around

yeh but people generally do the 1jz waterpump conversion (like i have) to get rid of the hydraulic fan pump.

Awsome, i was just going to ask why people change it. So when changing to the mechanical 1, you have to change the pulley and run a 1jz powersteering pump?
