ke3# hydrolic clutch bolts

Postby 79rolla » Tue Jul 21, 2009 3:45 pm

hey just tryed to fit the clutch master cylinder from a te37to the firewall of my ke35, there was already a hole drilled in between the studs on the firewall by a previous owner, but the studs arnt long enough, only about one thread showing after a put the master cyl on
i have tryed hitting them out but they wont budge.. is this just a case of trying a bigger hammer? or is there a trick to it?

see if you can pull aside the carpet from the inside and see. they probably welded in.

there is no carpet in it
but they dont appear to be welded, just a round flattish end, like most studs have would take a pic but dont have a camera atm

(assuming there is no purpose for them on the interior!)

that thought crossed my mind.. might try a club hammer and put something on the other side to stop the firewall from flexing first lol
