Cars need car batteries, the real thing.

Put it into a car with a 100 amp alternator, it charges too fast, overheats and it's toast.
They're for race cars only with a low output alternator. The importers might end up going broke with warranty claims.

One friends battery wouldn't raise above 7V, another wouldn't raise above 10V. Both attempts used intelli chargers with hard and cyclic charging and standard charging. I also attempted to use a standard 5A charger.. no go.
Both attempts were for charging periods of 72 hours and longer.
Sergei, I'd like to know what you did to "rescue" your batteries. Duration of charging and what charger.
If its dead, its normally dead. Note, these guys used the batteries on their sides. Orbitals don't seem to like sitting on their sides for long periods without the car being uesd.
If you don't use your car, then take the battery off. I've killed a lead acid to 0V just by not using the car for a couple of months.
If you really don't want a dead battery, I have 6x 2V cells for a forklift in the garage that I've used for SPL. Only weighs 120kg in totalLet me know if you are interested
