mates 10sec vr4 needs the hot and cold map setting on the ecu remaped,

where in auckland is a good place for this to be done?

my guess is the start up map and the main boost map.

haltech +4wd? not 100% mate, try gary capper performance in pukekohe. i know he does a LOT of work with evo's etc. not sure of his number but its in whitepages or yellow.

There is a fuel / coolant correction map which handles the enrichment when the engine is cold and it then pulls out enrichment fuel as it gets closer to operating temp.

this 'hot map/cold map' is all the same correction map, unless they are talking about something else.

Hitech Motorsport in Drury are a Haltech Agent so should be able to sort out whatever the issue is.

sochi at st-hi tec has a 4wd dyno, im pretty sure andre simons from STM flys up there for tunning on sochi's dyno every now and then, done a few spec evos on the dyno so that might be a start

that fuel coolant map is pretty simple to organise- only thing is that you basically need to do it over a few mornings- so you are adjusting it when its first warming up. once its warm thats it until the next morning
Probably best doing it yourself over a week or so.

exactly, you only get a few mins to play with it everytime the car is started from cold.
