Tein HA Suspension - internal cartridge - Revhead?

I'm actually doing some work on the celica for once and while sorting out the loom, I decided to think about the suspension.

I have some Tein HA's and want to disassemble and clean up the lower halves with a media blast and recoat to a diff colour as well as the top hats.

Do the Teins have an internal sealed cartridge that sits in the lower leg portion, or is the lower leg portion part of the damping system, so if I opened them up, oil is going to come out?

didnt have much to do with HA's coz they are old!
but they won't be an insert type

all good. I'll just mask up and strip the paint off and clean up as required.
