JZX100 Toyota Chaser Wheel Fitment

Postby YODA18 » Sat Aug 08, 2009 5:16 pm

Hi there guys,

My Hubbie has a Toyota Chaser and at the moment is looking into getting mags for it.

What my question is, what is the best offset for 18 inch wheels

Cheers

On my chaser i run the following on my 18"

fronts are
9" wide rims offset is +35 ( i have some 17 x 9s that are + 34s and these dont fit under the gaurds on the front with 235s on the front, if you put 225s on the front all will be fine )

rears
10" offset + 25, im running a bit of stretch ion the reart with 245

in all honest opinon 10" wide rims are just to big ( see pic ) , 9s or 9.5 on the rear would be fine

but it also comes down to what rim he is wanting or look hes going for, the dish look or the jdm drift look

so to sum it up + 34 would be ideal with a 9inch or 9.5 wide rim

this is a 10" wide rim with +25

Front: 17 inch 7.5J
Offset 42-45 215/45 Tyre

Rear: 17 inch 8.5J
Offset 40-45 255/40 Tyre

Should fit perfectly based on a matching chart. But yeah you can probably fit wider and bigger rims, but will have to roll guards and might have rubbing issues etc etc.
