not too bad, they have a reasonably thick walled black rubber hose connection from turbo to intercooler, only about an inch long so not much to worry about.
I think its similar to the throttle body too, but they are so short , thick and flexible its not that likely to create issues.

most common issue i've seen is the black 90degree plastic elbow that lies directly off the compressor side of the turbo post AFM. its right down by the manifold, and is exposed to a fair bit of heat, its made up of a corrugated design that tears easily and can be hard to spot. nice way to confuse the ECU by allowing enough extra air in to cause issues.

I have seen issues with people attempting to modify the stock top mount to accept a BOV, with poor quality welds cracking on the alloy.

poked wastegate actuator diaphragm? Aftermarket exhaust, what kind if you do have one?
To check TVSV clamp the line going from wastegate actuator towards the behind of the head (wastegate actuator will have two lines, one going straight to the compressor housing area, another ones goes behind the head, where the solenoid is located, if you clamp/block the rubber hose in between metal pipe and waste gate, it will stop the solenoid from bleeding boost) .

I've got rid of the original turbo intake and put in a straight one. I gave the plugs a clean and and now it starts stuttering at like 2-3psi. Gana get some new ones tommorow hopefully and see how that goes

because on any 2nd hand car regardless of it being FI or not this can cause these symptoms, even if they are ok they are probably on their way out depending on when they were last changed.

leads can sometimes get worse after bending them around to remove plugs... may explain why it is now doing it at 2 psi rather than 6psi...
