okay another q, radatiors i cracked top tank 8 months ago got it fix and flushed and cleaned on motorway doing the avergae speed my temp gaege is down really low dunoo if this bad thing or not? least it not running hot. going to get toyspeed sticker made up for back window anyone else got that??

thermostat could be stuck open, it shouldnt read really low

so im guessing take it to workshop? it wouldnt be cause i brought new kit and havent got around to getting the mesh yet so maybe doing 120k its staying cool cause of the air but hey what do i know im a panel beater not a mihicanic. sorry about spelling hopeless aye.

you can do thermostat yourself, pretty easy. if thats the problem

Did you have a thermostat put back in?

Some times a running cold engine can be as bad as a hot one.

Or the radiator fan temp sensor has not been plugged in hence is running full time. Also an option but I would go with the thermostat needing replacing, mite not have been an option before as your radiator was probably quite blocked.

that rings another bell... when AC is removed, if you unplug the sensor the fans run full time. Thats if its running full time.

:) Both systems run with this fail safe, maybe either one was not plugged back in after removal although the aircon plug should be above the gearbox if its a fwd
