segedens on dominion road. PHONE 6386439 .they will have to freight them in,because they only keep the M.T. ET street tires in stock, which are not radial, as opposed to the MT ET street 'radial'.
you need the radial if you want the tires to be street legal.
the cross ply et streets are sized in inches eg. 26 x 10.5 x 16. as opposed to the et street radial being sized in metric eg 255/ 50/16.

i am unaware of the nitto drag radial being sold anywhere in NZ.

As I mentioned on MSN, BF Goodrich g-Force T/A Radials were cheaper than the MT ET Street Radials when I was looking into it and perform quite well. The MTs are arguebly the best, though.

The MT Radials say they can be run on the street but I would not advise to use them on the road. They will most likely wear out Really fast and possibly be a little unstable due to the softness of the sidewalls.

You cant really find a drag tyre which is good for drags and good for street.
You can only have one.

By all accounts I have heard, those drag radials are ok on the street aside from being fast wearing. If you don't drive on the road much it probably wouldn't be that big an issue.

Not a drag tyre specifically, but what about something like the Dunlop Targa tyre or the Kumho Victo 700? I understand they are basically grooved slicks, mainly intended for circuit/street work. With a bit of heat should be alright for harder launches than a straight street tyre one would think.

Sold them ages ago..
For your car i would suggest the Hoosier Drag radials 225/50/15. The MTs are far to big and ud be crossing the line in 3rd gear.

if you lower the pressure in the drag radials, they will give you a really good launch.
ET street radials are doing low 1.6 sec sixty footers on soarers in Aussie. I managed 1.71 on hoosier drag radials. 1.68 sec on MT et street crossply.
