I used to use F1
Now I am using RE001
RE001 is better tyre (in my opinion) and cheaper.

Go for the cheapest of those, they are all good tyres so you can't really go wrong. Just don't get a Chinese made Eagle F1. (they differ in country of manufacturer)

Not many people will have compared all 4 tyres, but theres a couple of tyre gurus on here that will know the biz.

That is a good price, don't forget those tyres are made in Japan and are OEM option for STIs.

Got RE001 in 205/40/17's very happy with them only complaint is road noise (could be something to do with pillowball mounts tho). Grip well :D

go for the re001's you won't regret it. I have them on my 101 fxgt, in a 195/50/15 & they grip like you won't believe! I haven't figured out how to loose traction on them yet, even in the wet.
They're a bit noisy on some smooth seal, but strangely are silent at 100k on the motorway.

I'd rate them better than the DZ101's I've had in the past which previously I'd been pretty happy with. & the Re001's are cheaper too. I think I paid $180 a tire 3 weeks ago.

You guys have got it all wrong, Get Kingstars, they last for years

Just out of interest what is the wear like for the Re001's compared to the DZ101's?

youre comparing two different types of tyre there , re001 is assymetric and direzza is directional , so instantly the re001 lasts longer and is quieter 8)

From my experience, I think the Direzza is marginally quieter than the RE001, on the same pieces of road. I guess the Re001 may quieten down as its worn in a bit though

What he said!!

Best sticking tyre in the wet and dry !! Only downside would be a slightly softer side wall but you hardly notice it .
