I had a similar problem with my fxgt, bolted what i thought looked like a similar pressure plate but it was 10 or 15mm higher then the 4age one i had in it. I replaced the pressure plate cause it was stuffed in the fingers thanks to a broken release bearing. Turns out the pressure plate was jammed against the bellhousing so it could possibly be a clearance issue with your pressure plate rubbing or jamming on the bellhousing of the box
