There is a good section on Toyota Gearboxes on Wikipedia, looks like you have given the volvo part number for that box, the toyota one is A43DE.
Which came in
* 1982-1987 Toyota Cressida
* 1983-1986 Celica Supra
* 1992-up Suzuki Sidekick (4L30E)
* 1992-1998 Volvo 960/S90 (AW 30-43LE)

Or are you meaning, does this gearbox fit when doing a gearbox conversion?

The gearbox is in a 4x4.
I was told it was out of a v6 surf, but when i search the model number, it comes up volvo.
Im guessing it must be from a volvo as it has that model number on the side
