I think Fisichella might be going to Ferrari for the rest of the season, if the paddock rumour is correct. Hence maybe why he got some new motivation to do well.

On another note, looks like ALonso to Ferrari could be pretty close to happening, with Kimi saying there is still plenty of teams that want him for next year IF he happens to not be driving for Ferrari. Good to see he still seems to have some desire to be in F1.

I vote that every race is to be held at Spa. A season of 18 races of what we saw last night would be heaven, they were actually racing wheel to wheel and able to overtake! That was the first race this season I have bothered wathcing till the end!

Brilliant to see Kimi get a win at a track he dominates. But also, what a drive by Fisichella to get second, and hounding Kimi all the way. Would say if it werent for the magic button on the Ferraris steering wheel, Force Inida could have snatched there first ever points with a win.

Race of the season for me, oh how I love Spa!!

Oh dear, just when you thought it was safe to watch the racing again they bring out more controversy. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/78195 guess Flavio should've been nicer to Nelshino if he knew where the bodies were buried

Or is it a case of Piquet chucking his toys, and wanting to blame other people for his own crash, and stir up crap against renault?

It would be hard to belive him, we know he has an axe to grind against Flavio after there public spat.

I suspect it's more the Piquet trying to get back at Flavio. If it was just that I don't think it it would've been made public until the investigation was complete, besides which Nelshino has a lot to lose, like the rest of his racing career, if it's found out to be true.

Spa is definitely a favourite of mine and my man Raikkonen always seems to go good there even in a car that was'nt as fast as the others around him..I actually hope Raikkonen stays with Ferrari until his contract is up he still has the goods Ferrari just need to give him a better car and he'll get that drivers championship again for sure..

Im picking Schumacher and hakkinen to come out of retirement. Piquet Snr and Piquet Jnr buy BMW and both race as a Piquet super team.

Hell, after the results of this season, it might happen

If They're Consistent, The Stewards Will Strip Raikkonen Of Victory
Raikkonen's victory presumably remains provisional. Last September, Lewis Hamilton was stripped of victory for 'gaining an advantage' when he cut the chicane before overtaking Raikkonen into the first corner. At the first corner this weekend, Raikkonen, under no apparent pressure to do so, simply carried on onto the run-off area and returned in third place having been fifth at the moment he left the designated racetrack. It looked as deliberate as it was effective.

It will never happen because Alan Donnelly has selective colour blindness . i.e. He can't see red cars when they do something wrong ;)

Well perhaps Mansell and Montoya could drive Team USF1 sponsered by Maccas, Bk, and Pizza Hut. They might as well make both cars with extra large cockpits, to allow for there added size, as well as cup holders.

Waa waa waa. Ferrari win it's because they cheated, McLaren don't win it's because they were cheated against. Common theme here. I did not see any indication of a car cutting a corner to gain position in this race at all. Hamilton got clipped and it ended his race, who cares him and McLaren have no shot at anything this year anyway, all they missed out on is testing time.

As for Fishi, that makes no sense, its not the car the slows him down, it's the fact that he's not a fast driver! And there's no way Alonso is a better driver than Kimi. I'm glad I've given up on Ferrari they have lost thier way. There's still an outside chance of Vettel pulling out the win this season so go Sebastian all the way!
Dig a hole for the next man and you'll fall in.

Actually no common theme, other than that the Chief of Stewards has a conflict of interest in that his company also provides services to Ferrari, so there is an implication of bias. I couldn't care less whether McLaren, Ferrari or Force India wins as long as they do it fairly, and the stewards decisions are transparent without any possible hint of bias.

I did not see any indication of a car cutting a corner to gain position in this race at all.

Perhaps you need to read the rules properly. It's not about clipping a corner, the rules state that drivers can only use the track, and that does not include using the run off areas, to gain an advantage.

WTF are you on about, the incident has nothing to do with McLaren, or is it just your anti McLaren bias coming through.

Yes and for the first half of this year Hamilton, Raikonnen, Massa and Alonso were not fast drivers either

I think Fishi did pretty well.

After he was over taken, he did pretty well at the middle of the race to gain back ground. Came from 1.5 second gap to .7 gap against a KERS equiped Ferrari.
