3e overheating

Postby TRD_ZERO » Wed Sep 02, 2009 8:09 pm

Ive read the other post with the 3a having issues but id like to state the issues im having. My 3e gets to half way and stays there until i jump on the motorway and have prolonged high reves then it starts to creep up eventually. If i throw it in neutral and coast for abit the temperature goes down to half way again. Around town driving is fine as it just stays at half way until i rev it high for a couple minutes?

Ive got another radiator that i could use so ill try that. Ive changed the headgasket on it and it doesnt have a thermostat as when i thought about replacing it i saw there wasnt one in there. How do i check to see if my waterpump is flowing properly?
