2 reasons why the cops arent doing enuf!!

feel free to add to this post,

feeling particularly ANGRY tonight because....

2 little SHIT STAINS
tryed to break in2 my workshop and my "i only $&#$% got it 2days ago" lancer
lucky i was sleeping at the workshop and the lil $&#$% got the scare of their lives as we ran naked out yellin

needless to say the cops didnt get here fast enough, faster than usual though,
i once waited over 48hours for them to show up over a break in/vandalism on my house

*rant over*

you should have snuck up on them and given them a hiding.

cops dont waste their time with criminals they have no money they are targeting people with money by fining them for driving

So very true, ive had cars broken into and the cop said "nothing much we can do it takes them under a minute to break into this sort of car" no shit it takes under a minute to break into most cars, and they didn't even bother taking prints or anything,

Police need to learn people skills, maybe they should work at mc donalds for a year before starting as a cop

From memory, the biggest criminal demographic that is convicted it fraud related crime.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Yeah Cops are lazy, they should be everywhere all the time. Especially when there are Lancers parked outside workshops – that’s where all the hard out crims hang out.

Get an alarm for the lancer/workshop and might want to invest in some jim jams while your at it.

If it was that easy to catch people who broke into places/cars/whatever, or vandalised stuff we'd be catching them ourselves.
We all know cops can be pretty retarded, but give them a break I say. If you think you can do better, join the police force, otherwise STFU.

What's the old saying.. those who can do, those who can't teach?
Armchair critics much?

Also, IMO the retard driving a car dangerously is far more likely to kill me than the guy stealing my car stereo from my unalarmed car, park in a dark side street in a dodgy neighbourhood.

not quite what im saying, they are spending more time focousing on peoples driving than they are on real problems such as drugs and violence, IMO those things are far more important than someone who does 120 on a motorway

Cops get FAR too much crap in this country, when something like this happens people complain, maybe rightly maybe not, but then something like the hostage situation that happened a couple months ago and they get all sorts of media accusing them of being too violent and overly forceful. Same thing happend after the undie 500 this year tons of students saying "oh boo hoo we got yelled at by the police for being in the same area as the riots".

Yeah the cops could be better, but on the whole I think their pretty good. In the US the cops wouldnt even turn up for a stolen car.

why is it ? if they stay at home and do it in there own home then i coudlnt care less ... let them drug/drink/beat them/there own to death as far as im concerned, its when they they leave home that there is a problem,

police should be policing the streets ,

i cant recall seeing a police man walking around Botany town centre (as a example)(lots of crime there) for a few years, if ever ... like wise with the streets, have a car/s patrolling a Set area

Hmm.. what was that speed limit again... 100? Oh yeah that's right...

Complacency breeds habit.

As mention before.. Not breaking any laws? Then what do you have to worry about? (Oh yeah, that other person who is breaking the law and potentially endangering other (potentially) innocent bystanders)

I sometimes wonder. If the police stopped getting dumped on for doing their job, would we have more people interested in being an officer of the law?

Chances are they're under 18 anyway so there's $&#$% all the cops could've done with them.

Stealer Of Souls wrote:I sometimes wonder. If the police stopped getting dumped on for doing their job, would we have more people interested in being an officer of the law?

Not only that, but the ones that are already there might hang around longer.

Roy wrote:Surely its a resourcing issue?last time my car was broken into I drove my car to the cop shop with blood in it (Ie a nice DNA sample!) - still were not the slightist bit interested ie heres the form to fill out for insurance purposes....

Very annoying. I've always wondered whether they would have accepted evidence analysised privately ie taking that blood to be added to police records privately somehow?

more relevant - Burgers/theives usually operate within an area known well to them. thus if there is an crime of this nature in your area its a great idea to put some deteriants in ie alarms etc, because the probability of reoccurance of offending is very high. After seeing the rates through work it was abit eye opening - higher than I thought it would be anyway...

DNA testing is expensive, and you also need something to compare it to, imagine the outcry if we cataloged DNA like the States

Also, being that you've only had the car for 2 days, it's possibly someone you know, or someone you know has a big mouth, or you bought it from some shady people.

And of course re offending is high, the justice system is a joke (a damn expensive one at that) especially when youths are involved.

all very well IF they stay in their own home, but when do you ever see a crack fiend at (when they have drugs) when they don't where are they>? stealing from us to get drugs.

@the 120kph comment, my point is that while this is breaking the law, that when you compare it to such things as violence and drug abuse it is far less of an offence to the public. yes there are problems on the road, but as i said earlier IMO there needs to me more focus on serious and organised crime (drugs gangs and violence) than minor speeding offences.
