stiffening ke35 leavs

Postby 79rolla » Tue Sep 29, 2009 4:48 pm

ok, im trying to see what i can do about my suspension, im going to replace my shocks, its already got 2inch blocks but this only leaves about 2cmish of clearance to the bump stops..

basically wanting to stiffen the suspension up a bit so that it wont hit the bump stops all the time, and give it a bit better handling..

i know you can get the springs professionally reset and stiffened/extra leaf added, but im kind of on a tight budget, anybody know how mutch this costs?

are there any springs that you can add to them for a good result, iv got a ke30 parts car but the leavs all look to be the same length as the 35's ones

it needs to be abil to pass a cert aswell

hope that makes scents, cheres

add more springs. use another set and add in the bigger base leaf or two. will have to use a metal band to locate them (so they dont shift sideways)

not sure on cost to reset the springs
