Yeouch..... Wonder how that managed to come about???

So...... Parting it out?
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

No one from here I hope?

How in the $&#$% do you hit a school bus? He must have been acting like a muppit as bus's are huge and pretty easy to see avoid :o

Seems we bit werid to me for either one to hit the other at an intersection

1: if you the bus driver how in the $&#$% do you miss a GT4 thats so brightly colourd

2: if you the GT4 driver who do you miss the bus

If you come around a blind corner then it doesn't matter how big the bus is, you're going to hit it because you've not seen it at all.

There's a million possibilities, including blind corners, narrow roads, and fault on either party.

But generally you slow do for an intersection and at least have a look even if it is the middle of no where

Will jsut have to wait for the investigation to find out whos at fault

I would imagine that getting hit in the drivers door area is going to mean the police will decide the celica driver failed to give way, unless there are traffic lights at this intersection and the bus had a red?

The bus pulled out into the path of the car from what I know.

I could imagine the bus driver pulled out infront of the car, not saying this bus driver was but i have had a couple of real dodgy bus drivers when i was at school use to pull out in front of big trucks and cars on the main highway 8O use to scare the shit out of you

Glad the driver survived. That is one big mess!

Depends on if it was a CS/RC or not to determine potential parts value - morbid thinking I know..

definatley a big impact.

the driver (whom i will not name) is a very popular and likeable local competitor, who competes in an array of events both locally and nationally, and has some good finishes in the classes he competes in.

there has been much speculation regarding the accident, but i firmly believe the crash investigators will find the accurate cause of the accident, and it is not something that any of us who were not present to speculate on.

i wish him, and the passenger the speediest of recoveries.
I've been a bad bad boy. I should read the rules and behave before I get spanked by an admin

What a sad lot! Some of you appear more concerned for the car than it's occupants and if there will be some spare parts available !
Hope none of you end up in this situation !

Its pretty scary and sobers one up to the fact that accidents can happen anytime. Condsider if that was a normal GT4 and the accident would have been a lot worse.
