it is shit, but there is a website maxx.co.nz? that if you say weher you are and where you want to go it gives you buses, timetables etc.

from the city to most places you shouldn't have too much trouble, its just a matter of finding the bus stop and getting the right number bus.

Not sure about canyoning but that gridiron thing I'd say is like the offseason gridiron they play in the states. Sort of the 7's version. From what I;ve seen its a touchdown fest, no real structure or tactics if you're used to watching regular gridiron

North Head iirc.

Yeah, North Head. The tunnels are open but you can't go down right into the middle of the hill like you used to be able to. They have all the massive guns and stuff there still (they actually function 8O ). Don't forget a torch.

I'd reccomend Devo for a sunny afternoon.

It definitely was different to what i expected when we went up there for Top Gear at start of this year, traffic flow is a frick of alot better than i thought,. you hear lots about bloody auckland drivers down here from cutting people off but that's cause we're ignorant down here and don't want a smooth traffic flow. What did you think of Sylvia Park?? Man that place is bloody HUUUUUGGEEEEE

You guys must not have malls down there then? Or is it just NZ in general that has tiny malls?

Well a walk through Sylvia park compared to riccarton mall is no comparison, Sylvia Park is pretty big. despite our malls expanding it's go tnothing on that.

The other malls up there are on par with ours.
I like how you say is it NZ in general that has small malls. what is Auckland a country on it's own now?? I thought the super city was going ahead but not on that scale :P
