Link wiring help.

Postby TRD_ZERO » Sun Nov 01, 2009 5:11 pm

So im in the process of wiring in my link computer and have been getting alot of help from Gasman which has been great.

These questions could be rather simple but im still learning here so go easy on me.

Image

When looking at the ecu pinout for the blacktop there are two igniter wires now which one do i wire into ign 1 on the link? cause on the blacktop ecu pinout there is a igf and a igt both labled igniter.

The +14v on the link what wire do i connect that to as my ecu pinout has two battery wires one being BATT and +B

Now that i have wired what i needed to im left with an aweful lot of spare wires like starter relay, knock sensor, defogger switch and alot more...now what do i do with these wires that are left over?

Which of the left over wires do i ground? And am i able to ground them with the ground of the link?

All help appreciated and there will be more questions to come until i have it up and running.

IGt is the ignition signal from the ecu to the ignitor.

B+ is the switched power to the ecu, Batt is unswitched

The els pins are to let the ecu know that an electrical load has been switched on, you can wire these to a spare inputs on the link.

IGT is your ign1 (ig trigger) igf is ign fire (dont need on link)

Check the +B on a multimeter one should turn on when the key is switched to on.

leftover wiring leave connected to the plug, or if you cut it off tape it up so no wires can touch each other

what version link is it?
