AVS Alarm problem - randomly going off

I have a AVS alarm in my car with the backup siren etc that goes off if you disconnect the battery or the battery drops below a certain voltage etc.

Now because my car battery had died a few times over the last month I thought I should replace the battery.

I went and bought a new 440cc battery but now over the last couple of weeks the alarm has been going off randomly, even when I have had no trouble starting the car...i.e the battery has heaps of juice in it.

Any ideas what could be causing the problem?
