To complete the STI treatment, Subaru will wedge a 250 horsepower version of its 2.5L boxer turbo under the car’s hood.

yes...

No word is the coupe will remain rear-wheel drive or adopt an all-wheel drive system.

STI 2l turbo > STI 2.5l turbo :(
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

2.5 turbo making 250Hp is a bit of fail these days.
I expect this sort of power out of regular NA.

bet the 2.5 turbo making 250hp would be a much much better road car than a 2.5ltr n/a making 250 hp

AWD :? that sux big time,
im in the right age group and income to be looking at buying this new car, me and the miss where seriously talking about buying one when i comes out,
and the choice to adopt awd has made us say NO.

if i wanted a box, AWD and unreliable i would of got a subaru!!!
big fail on Toyotas part.

I think they're only adopting 4WD on the Subaru version, Toyota will remain RWD.

Ive always wondered about boxers and whether they are an inherently fail design to begin with. Just seems unnecessarily complex
