its totally your call mate but as I said, I have been down the lawyer road and there is NOTHING they can do but argue the facts, if ur convicted then they HAVE to take ur liecense.....so just dont spend too much cash on ur lawyer because he really cant help you

had different wheels cuz i got a punchure on the back (front 18" rear 17") and the van has got the LSD out of my drift car in it so cant run dif wheels so just put the steelys on til i got round to fixing it.

im going to meet the lawyer on wed and see what she says, started looking into limited licences also, prices vary from $140 to $1000...

i just cant see how my pussy little burnout justifies loosing my license for 6 months, i would liken it to stealing a loaf of bread and then being put on home D etc

I got charged with Sustained loss a few years back in my old 3AU AE85, went round a corner too quick, squeeled the tyres and when I gunned it the bitch poured oil smoke out the back. The lawyer cost me $1500, but now all I have on my record is a Careless Use conviction.

In your case the cop doesn't seem to have a lot to go on. He was quite a distance away, and it could be put down to an accident, i.e. used to having nice big tyres on the back not 175/70 commercial tyres

A 2 second burnout is the same concept as a 10 second burnout. Time is irrelvant and the underlying issue is its still a burnout (or sustained loss of traction as the case may be).
In short the facts were you did a burnout, you got caught while doing it, you admitted you were guilty. You may as well admit you were guilty in court and get it over with as everything is stacked against you.

What I find is that these boyracers laws are totally unnecessary, for example every single boyracer behaviour could be charged with the laws already established before boyracer act.
Burnouts: careless use of motorvehicle/careless driving/dangerous driving
Racing: dangerous driving/speeding.

Not sure where it says there is a fast lane in the road code. AFAIK motorways and so forth are all rated to 100Km/h hence any lane can be used for speeds upto 100Km/h. Its only courtesy that you are to pull to the left (unless signs state otherwise). But back on topic...

No, it's actually law. You must keep to the left. In a multi lane road you must keep to the leftmost lane unless that lane is occupied.

However this is seldom enforced and it's still possible to legally comply if all lanes are occupied and travelling at exactly the same speed then you can effectively block traffic.
