Removable roll cage members

Postby CelicaGT8 » Sat Dec 12, 2009 4:49 pm

Hi there, Im doing the roll cage in my V8 Celica, but i need some of the cage removable.

I have seen a few drawings on how to do this, but havnt seen one in person... i dont want to get it wrong and have to redo it.

This is what i know...

Removable roll cage bracing is acceptable in one of the
following configurations:

a. If one tube fits inside another tube to facilitate removal,
the removable portion must fit tightly and must bottom by
design, and at least two bolts must be used to secure each
joint. The telescoping section must be at least 8 inches
long. The minimum bolt diameter is 3/8 inch.

But does anyone have achual pictures of this? or better drawings?

Thanks, Rob
