Postby peas » Tue Dec 22, 2009 8:54 am

Hey guys... just had a look a brothers new van and the coolant is... well its water so going to do a change on it knowing how fussy these diesles are about thei cooling. Are these a b!tch to bleed? Any other little issues?

when i did the thermostat on my nissan 2.7D it just had a little thing you turn at the bottom of the radiator and out it comes, even has a hose so you can get it to a bucket. flows out better if you take the cap off too.

Just drain everything you can, get a hose and flush it a bit if you can, heater included. Easiest refill option is to take one end of the top hose off and fill through there until it comes out, fit the hose and top up the last little bit, run until warm and it should be right.
