Please help! Changing rear brake pads...

I am changing the rear brake pads on a 97 Trueno AE111, and I cant get the pistons to push back in, to allow the new pads to fit.
I was using a "C" clamp and the old brake pads but it wouldnt budg. Is there something else I have to do before the piston will push back in??

not sure about the ae111, but some of them have to be wound back in, as in spun clockwise as they're pushed in.

you need to turn them to push them back in.
You can either use a special tool, and sometimes long nose pliers work.

Repco sells the tool you need. Goes onto a 3/8" ratchet and winds the pistons back in - only takes a few seconds to do and definitely well worth the ~$20 pricetag
