caldina gtt missing at low rev/ idle

hey my caldina sound like its got a miss on idle i have replace the spark plug i suspect it might be one of the coils, any way to check if it is the coils??

Unlikely to be the coils, they're more likely to fail at high boost and/or high RPM than at idle.

There is no real way to test the coils for intermittent faults. The check engine codes will be transient and only tell you if there has been a misfire, not what caused it.

oh k has anyone had this problem with there caldina or 3sgte doing this? exhaust note when on idle is rough kinda bubbly sound

Hey man,
They checked over my car yesturday and couldnt find anything, but said when they were checking fault codes the O2 sensor dropped off a couple of times, so im getting that fixed, they said they can source an aftermarket O2 sensor for about $100 (+labour), thats getting fitted next week, so hopefully that does something!

I hate to dig up an old topic but my cars doing the same thing just wondering if anyone heard how Caldina3SGTE or phraza got on fixing their GT-Ts or if anyone else can shed some light on the issue.

hey mine still does it replace all coils and o2 sensors , gonna have a look at my idle sensor as soon as i find a tool to take it off will keep you posted
