water cooling - turbo gt3582R

Does it matter which way the water flows through the turbo?

also, i presume that hose 16284 is inlet to turbo(upper thermostat housing) and 16285 is outlet? (to lower thermostat housing)

yeah you got your hoses and their numbers and purposes correct.
former car 1991 JZZ30 soarer 1JZGTE 11.5sec@122mph(stock turbos,E85)

The turbo doesnt care which way it goes...
so long as it has water cooling of some sort.
