aristo / gs300 front suspension

Postby edwagon » Thu Jan 14, 2010 5:02 pm

Looking at a jzs160 and it drives pretty nicely (as they do!), but it has quite a noticible 'crashy looseness' in the front suspension/body over sharp bumps in the road and those low raised, paved pedestiran crossing things.

Is there anything in the front suspension that commonly wears out on these juggernauts?
Im thinking balljoints, or even bushes (not so much shocks etc tho)

LCA Bushes would be the first thing I'd check, not sure if they do the steering rack bushes in these or not

Didn't know that the Altezzas chopped out front balljoints too  - and I now own an Altezza AND a gs300.

May as well be rolling a pair of xf falcons......
