Need more info :?

Is the turbo aftermarket or modified CT26?

Is it being rebuilt each time or replaced?

sounds silly but did the shop use proper oil feed/return flange gaskets or did they use silicone shit?

I've heard that some shops use silicone.... and it enters the pressure side and screws things up

turbo is ct26, rebuilt 2nd and 3rd time, the one thats just blown was a diferent(still used) but still rebuilt with .50trim ct26.

is running factory boost 11.8-12psi.

should be using descent gaskets but not really to sure.

How exactly are they blowing? Making bad noises? Lots of smoke?

Something is either wrong with your motor or the person rebuilding them (if its the same person).

aftermarket bov? is the spring too hard causing compressor surge?? or maby your oil pressure is too high for the turbo and blowing the seails, or blocked drain pipe?? or not getting enough oil through and killing the berrings??
are you running turbo timer?
is it water cooled (overheating)

how is the turbo blowing?

just a few ideas off the top of my head..

You have too much oil going to the turbo from the sounds of it . When I was running non ball bearing turbos I fitted a restricter(welded up banjo bolt in oil feed line, 2mm hole from memory ) so that at idle I got around 800ml of oil in a minute out the turbo oil drain( measure for 30 sec and double the amount ).
I have also had smoky turbos when the filter on the breather bottle got blocked causing pressure build up in the sump .

Good luck sorting your problem out

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Go to the person who is repairing the turbo and ask them what is the cause,

too much oil, not enough oil, something foreign damaging the blades,
or breaking the shaft etc etc.

Even if they are not going to fix the turbo,
it may be worth sending a stuffed one away to get the cause of failure examined.

Compresser surge takes forever to actually bust a turbo.
Your probably looking at 2-3 years before any damage is done, if that.
In Australia, its very common to run your turbo car with no blow off valve so you get the doseing. People run there cars for years...

And others it is quick.

We had a race car break a turbo within a few hours of running because the BOV was either jammed or not connected, cant remember which it was.

Took me about 30km worth of driving with no BOV, and then reconnected everything back up. 3 months down the track the ceramic turbine just snapped clean off while driving normally.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

was running the blitz bov with the factory turbo(came with it) and it didn't blow, sucked through sum debre screwing the impelors.the only reason i rebuilt it.havn't changed the oil side either.would i have to going from 40trim to 50(both ct26)? i am running a turbo timer usually set at 30-40secs. its botom feed oil side feed water.just had the oil feed and drain pipes raplaced, the feed had a hairline crack from being taken on and of so much(it's solid) so it may have caused this blow but not the other's. the impelors have been fine(no chip's etc) everytime but the first. Seams ta only be blowing seal's/bearings. turboshop can't seam to figure it out...even after 7 months of it hapening.

also thanks for the feedback guys appreciate it heaps:)

could changing from ceramic internal's to steel have anything to do with it? diferent oil/cooling needs?

manifold has nothing to do with oil seals blowing or bearing damage.
