Fitting boost gauge to 3sgte, need help

Postby dakine » Mon Jan 18, 2010 9:54 am

Can someone please post a picture of where they connected the feed from the boost gauge on a caldina gtt (3sgte)?? Or describe in great detail where it needs to go?

Thanks in advanced,
Mark

That might be ok on an AFM metered 3S-GTE but on a MAP based engine it's the wrong place to put it. It can affect the factory sensor reading, and worse still if the comes off under boost your engine will radically lean out and advance the ignition, which is not good for engine life expectancy.

Try putting it in the trigger line to the BOV if you want a safer place for it.
