Reverse lights not working

Postby celica_xr9145 » Sun Jan 24, 2010 3:01 pm

Just noticed today that both my reverse lights arent working.

Have replaced both bulbs and checked the fuses in the engine bay and the passenger side footwell but no luck.

Any ideas?

I don't know how long it's been like this. Do you think it could be somehow connected to the sunroof randomly stopped working?

Its an AE101 Trueno 4AFE Auto by the way.

Check the reverse light sensor thing on the gearbox is plugged in.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Doesn't really matter if they work or not, they aren't required for a WOF. (i know, 0% helpful, but if that's what he is worried about...)

Thanks for the replies, think i have found the problem. There seems to be 2 cut wires that don't go to anything in the boot so going to give that a try.

Nope, haven't touched anything. Going to sort out the wires tomorrow, failing that my next guess is the reverse sensor switch is okay (if i can find it).

It has recently had a low km engine fitted so they might have missed it. :?
