what to do with my ae85

Postby doin donuts » Thu Jan 28, 2010 10:33 pm

hey all, i know people will say that its my choice but im interested to know others thoughts..

i have an ae85 levin and i have a full vertex kit, iv been thinking bout not fitting it and just running with front and side lips instead, subtle but affective...heres some pics to have a look at..

I personally think no kit, as I like the subtle lines of the AE
:D

**but in saying that, if I could get my hands on a Jblood kit, id be all over it like a school girl on prom night**

My main point is the sides of the car.
Without skirts, it has a 'rounds off to the underside of the car' look, which IMO, doesn't look very good.
However, the skirts in that kit sort of flare out too much.
Something a bit more subtle would look good.

Something like this:

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Agree with you.
It can be down to personal preference really. If it was me (and provided I don't have to deal with any nasty drive ways) I'd have it slamed with vertex kit. It could look a bit funny if you can not have it that low to try and stop damage.

Don't see many with kits in NZ, so I say do it for that reason :)

Looks pretty good 8)

Though, you will have to have the wheels / ride height to pull it off properly imo.
