Apexi PowerFC hand controller

Postby ihavelift » Mon Feb 01, 2010 4:48 pm

Anybody in Auckland have 1 of these and know how to use it?

I need to check the codes for my engine light which randomly comes on for no reason. No probs with the car at all which is confusing, but I don't want something to go bang while I'm driving around!

Cheers

Yeah.

The PFC don't have codes as such, if you get the lights flashing while driving it's most likely to be knock warning, pimvolt warning or injector cycle warning, all of 3 which you can monitor with the hand controller.

My mum said don't meet up with strangers! :(

put your PFC hand controller on monitor mode

Monitor these values: (I don't care if you have it on 4 channel or 8 )
PIMVOLT
INJ DUTY
KNOCK

go to the screen where you're monitoring number values
push up, this will only show peak hold values

go for a drive until the said light goes blinking

Note down the values of those items.

Report back.

If you dont have a hand controller and a SW20 3SGTE one will work (not 100% sure it will, same motor tho), i can help.
